end of the academe road

Above are some photos during my graduation day!
most photos were taken by Alexie's dad!

I'm just happy that somehow i am off from the pressure of the four corners of the academe and now i am facing yet another journey, another phase
another learning. Now I am officially enrolled in the college of hard knocks
and i am yet to discover what's more to life.
Actually it never occured to me, how life would be after that moment... I just savored the so called commencement of the hard work, the pressures, the worries.
I was just consumed by the euphoric feeling of nothing to worry about tomorrows' tests, requirements, or anything textbook related. hehe.

oops! i forgot i did had to think about the pinning ceremony the next day!

yep! some pix above are from the Pinning Ceremony

though tired and nostalgic with the graduation... we had to wake up early the next day to prepare for the Pinning Ceremony. i was a bit worried about the event since for the past few weeks everyone was so busy complying their requirements and totally neglected the event.
good thing, it did went fine and i guess well :)

my favorite part of the ceremony? when we paid tribute to our parents and clinical instructors.
It was actually a surprise for our clinical instructors. kakatuwa 'coz we didn't had anytime to rehearse nor to agree about it-- the whole 500+ of us. time was tight and clinical instructors were around whenever we were gathered, we then decided to just push through with the plan.
It was on the spot actually and it was raw -- yep!
It was announced days before that there will be a surprise song number but then it was never talked about as i've said and just then and there that everyone was noticed that after the batch song we will all be singin' Celine Dion's Because You Love Me.
the power of technology nga naman, buti nlang may text! ahaha.
the singers of our batch didn't even rehearse for this, everything just fell into place having them sing solo parts on verses acapella and the chorus by the rest of us.
kakatuwa tlga! not everyone is familiar with the song but then everyone tried to even just hum to the tune.

personally i am much thankful to my clinical instructors
actually to everyone who have been part of my life.
well each of you guys really made an impact and share a little piece of my self
and i am ever grateful for that.

this is the end of the long chapter of academe life for me =)
i am relieved and just excited to rest for awhile.
